Material Options: PEEK

PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) is a high-performance thermoplastic known for its exceptional mechanical strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability even under continuous high-temperature operation. As a semi-crystalline polymer, it offers an excellent balance of heat, chemical, and wear resistance, making it one of the most durable materials used in custom molded parts. This advanced thermoplastic can be processed through injection molding, compression molding, or extrusion, enabling design flexibility for complex components with tight tolerances. PEEK can operate continuously at temperatures up to approximately 480°F and has a melting point near 644°F. It maintains its integrity in demanding environments, resists hydrolysis and radiation, and withstands repeated sterilization cycles without loss of performance making it ideal for both industrial and medical applications. Lightweight yet strong, PEEK serves as an outstanding metal replacement in applications where reduced weight, high strength, and corrosion resistance are critical. It runs cleanly during molding and maintains a smooth surface finish, ensuring consistent performance and long service life.

Typical Applications:

Aerospace components, medical device housings, electrical connectors, pump and valve parts, and high-temperature automotive systems.
